In an effort to keep everyone safe:
- The life guards are in charge. They have the authority to enforce rules and regulations, including all weather related closures. While a rule may feel arbitrary, the guards make decision to ensure the safety of our members.
- At their discretion, life guards can require any member or guest to take a basic water safety test to swim in the well.
- Weather WILL impact our pool hours!
- Pools will be closed for 30 minutes after the last sound of thunder.
- Pools will be closed for 1 hour after the last citing of lightning.
- Pool may close when the air temperature falls below 66 degrees.
- Please remember to treat our guards with respect!
- No glass. NO GLASS. NO GLASS
- No Smoking and Vaping. Absolutely no smoking or vaping is permitted on pool grounds. If you think you’re hiding it, you’re not.
- Two lanes are reserved for lap swimming EXCEPT during swim team practice when one lane will be reserved for lap swimmers. Recreational swimming is not permitted in the lap lanes at any time, even if they are empty. Hanging on the ropes between the main pool and the lap lanes is not permitted, nor is cutting across the lap lanes.
- A parent or caregiver MUST supervise all children 12 and under while on pool grounds and in the play areas. Lifeguards may not be asked to be responsible for any individual children in the pools or in the play areas. Children 12 and under may not be left alone at the pool.
- All members must check in at the front desk by scanning a digital membership card or providing their last name to the life guard in the office.
- Members must check all guests in at the front desk and have guest passes loaded to their account.
- Floatation devices of any kind are not permitted in the main pool.
- Kick boards are reserved for the swim team and lap swimmers only.
